La hacienda Kankirixche fue abandona por varios años, en los cuales el clima y la naturaleza deterioraron de manera considerable las construcciones que conformaban la hacienda.
A mediados del 2011 Jaime Raymundo Concha hijo valora la posibilidad de rescatar la hacienda con recursos de la familia Concha Echazarreta y recobrar la belleza original de la misma apegado lo más posible su aspecto original, el colonial tardío de finales de los 1700´s (datos históricos en proceso de confirmacíon), rescatando e innovando y a la vez dándole un toque moderno apegado al estilo colonial yucateco de principios de los 1800´s. 
Un grupo reducido de trabajadores forma parte del equipo de reconstrucción, abriendo fuentes de empleo a los habitantes en Acanceh y en particular a la hacienda Cibceh.
Los materiales de construcción también son adquiridos localmente, beneficiando en varios aspectos a la población de esta zona. Otra parte importante de este proyecto de reconstrucción es el rescate de los senderos que eran utilizados antiguamente por los trabajadores de la Hacienda, el sendero Mariano en honor a las advocaciones Marianas, bautizado asi por su actual propietario, como lo es la Virgen del Rosario patrona de la Hacienda, es un circuito de aproximadamente 4 Km que junto con el recientemente rescatado “Sendero Maya” y el nuevo “Sendero Guadalupano” forman parte importante del proyecto.
“Es una obra de amor y de mucha paciencia”, comenta Jaime R. Concha Echazarreta.
Para este 2012, se ha planeado la consolidación de la casa principal, el corral, la alberca y la capilla, para que de esta forma la Hacienda Kankirixche recobre su explendor de antaño.
The Hacienda Kankirixche was abandoned for several years, the climate and nature deteriorated significantly the buildings that once were the main hacienda.
In mid-2011, Jaime Concha Jr. pondered the possibility of rebuild the hacienda with resources of the family Concha Echazarreta, to restore its original beauty as closes as its original appearance, which is the late colonial from 1700′s with a touch of innovation, but also giving it a Yucatan modern colonial style from the early 1900′s.
A small group of workers are part of the reconstruction team, opening up job opportunities for people in Acanceh, particularly to the workers of Hacienda Cibceh.
The construction materials are also purchased locally, benefiting in many ways the people of the municipality of Acanceh.
Another important part of this reconstruction project is the rescue of the trails that were used by the former workers of the Hacienda. The now so called Marian Trail, honors the Marian avocations and the patron of the Hacienda the Virgin of the Rosary. With about 7 kilometers long, the Marian trail together with the recently rescued “Mayan Trail” and the newly “Guadalupe Trail” are an important part of the project.
“It’s a labor of love and patience”, said Jaime Concha Echazarreta.
The front yard, the pool and the chapel of the Hacienda Kankirixche will open its doors to the public in September 2012.
