Una de las principales atracciones que el estado de Yucatán ofrece a sus visitantes son los cenotes, cavernas y ríos subterráneos. Estos espacios naturales representan para muchas personas lugares sagrados y para otros una aventura y entretenimiento sin igual.
El municipio de Cuzamá que conocido turísticamente por sus bellos y enigmáticos cenotes y la manera tan peculiar de llegar a ellos, se localiza a unos 25 minutos al Este de la Hacienda Kankirixche en Acanceh.
El “Truck”, un carrito que transita por vías de tren y jalado por un caballo, es utilizado para transportar a los visitantes por la selva, dándole al paseo un sentimiento mayor de aventura.
El primer destino es el cenote de Chelentún (piedra recostada), en su mayoría es una caverna con una profundidad máxima de 18 metros y visibilidad de 50 metros por su agua cristalina.
La segunda parada es en el Cenote Chak-Zinik-Che que significa “Hogar de la Hormiga Roja”, es considerado como uno de los mejores para el buceo en cuevas en el estado. Tiene una vista impresionante por sus estalactitas y la chimenea que da a una pequeña cámara con aire en la parte superior. La Cueva es un circuito bastante ancho con una profundidad es de 40 metros.
Para finalizar este recorrido el Cenote Bolom-Chojol que significa Nueve Hoyos de Ratón. Después de descender 10 metros en una escalera formada por rieles de “truck” encontramos el agua cristalina con una temperatura 27 grados centígrados y con visibilidad de 50 metros.
El Cenote Bolom-Chojol consta de una piscina de 35 metros de diámetro con una profundidad máxima de 12 metros, en un extremo tiene una entrada a cueva de 2 niveles, el primer nivel esta sobre una profundidad de 27 metros y a mitad de este corredor esta la entrada (restricción mayor) al segundo nivel con una profundidad de 40 metros.
Atraves de los 7 Km de rieles, “trucks”, caballos y selva que la Ruta de los Cenotes de Cuzama ofrece a sus visitantes se podrá explorar a pie, nadar, bucear y disfrutar de su fauna marina y del mundo subterráneo considerado como sagrado para los mayas .
One of the main attractions that the state of Yucatan offers to visitors is the Cenotes, caves and underground rivers. These natural areas represent for many people other sacred places and an unparalleled entertainment adventure.
The Cuzamá village is touristically known for its beautiful and enigmatic cenotes and the peculiar way of reaching them. It is located about 25 minutes east of Hacienda Kankirixche.

The Last destination is the cenote BOLOM-Chojol (Nine Holes of Mouse in Maya language). After descending 10 meters on a ladder built with a truck´s railroad, we find the crystal clear water with a temperature 27 degrees Celsius and visibility of 50 meters.
The Cenote BOLOM-Chojol consists of a pool of 35 meters in diameter with a maximum depth of 12 meters; in one end the cenote has a cave entrance with 2 levels. The first level is over a depth of 27 meters, the second level with a depth of 40 meters.
Through the 7 km of “trucks” rails and jungle, the Cenotes Route in Cuzama offers its visitors a great exploring experience on foot as well as swimming, snorkeling and enjoy the marine life in the underworld considered sacred to the Maya.
